This type of situation, which does not make us happy, was the motivation for us at Postcron to create a new functionality that allows us to get rid of this issue and we can’t wait to share it with all of you going through the same situation as us. 1-“A little bit of history…”
Redundant tasks are not at all compatible with the free and creative spirit of an entrepreneur since they strip us from inspiration and time which we could devote to handling matters that actually help us develop our potential and our business.

As a result, he created what Postcron is today,and because of that he was able to do his job, go on a trip, rest and have a couple of caipirinhas while relaxing. 2- Creating content for social networks…(the story continues)
As for the new functionality, it’s also born as a result of an uncomfortable and frustrating situation: we realized we were spending too much time and money trying to get interesting content. You could say we reached rock bottom when we requested in Workana (web that gathers freelancers) someone to put together a list of the 100 best articles on social media of the previous 6 months since that would allow us to get a source of inspiration to create our own content and to have a “stock” of articles to share with you and keep our social networks updatedwith truly interesting posts.
The now not so “young” engineer,
He starts thinking that what the freelancer from Workana did could be automatizedand that that would not only benefit us but also our customers. That’s why he developed a search engine that applies an algorithm that retrieves suggested content, no matter what the field is.. This application does every hour what we would do day after day after day. Yes Sir!

What does this application do then?
- It searches in a few seconds the most current viralized content of blogs, online magazines, etc. favourites.
- It automatically schedules and programs the content gathered so that you can later publish it whenever you see fit.
How much time can you save with this tool?
In order to know precisely how much time a person can save using this tool, we decided to time each activity involved in the search and analysis of content of the best 20 articles by 20 favourite high profile people. Following the same criteria and requirements that the algorithm applies in order to select the articles we performed the search for posts manually, we checked one by one, we selected the ones that matched our needs, we registered them in an Excel spreadsheet, we ordered them, scheduled them and programmed their publication.The total of time?: 2 hs. 22 min. Only for 20 articles. This doesn’t take into account the time it would take to upload each article at a specific time, manually. To have a better idea of how much time we save let’s imagine we’d have to do what the search engine does: analyse 100 high profile people and their 100 most viral articles filtered by keywords: it would take a total of 55 hours.

Three steps to heaven
- First: upload in the application a list of a maximum of 100 of your favourite high profile people and choose the keywords in order to filter the search with the topics that are relevant to you and your audience. For instance: “social media”, “e-commerce”, “social networks”, “entrepreneurs”, “happiness”, etc.
- Second: Click on the “Get recommendations” button and hold on for a few seconds.
- Third: Voilá! You already have a list available of the best 20 articles of your high profile people according to the filters you have set. Later, you decide if you want to share it or save it for whenever you’ve run out of content. Once you have used the first ten you’ll be able to use the following ten and so forth.-

How do we define what’s the best content?
The algorithm is much more complex than what we’ll describe now but basically what it does is to look for the most retweeted content which has been marked as favourite the most amount of times since this way we’ll get excellent quality material. Besides the retweets and the favourites, the algorithm analyses that what is selected has a valid link, an adequate length of text and that the content matches the keywords.
CONCLUSION?
You no longer have excuses to abandon your fan page or to fail to build a relationship with your fans. Remember that the key to develop a community with your followers is the content you share since this is the stepping point in order to generate identification, involvement and fidelity from your fans.
