How Do I Make My Site Search Engine Friendly?

Often, the best way to make your site more search engine friendly is to simply add more text. Obviously, the content must add value and be on topic, but the addition will create a new set of keywords and phrases for the search engines to crawl. Think of these terms as new ‘gateways’ for the engines - the injection of text will provide new doorways for traffic. You can also increase text by removing it from images and placing it in actual text form. This sounds obvious, but it’s quite surprising how frequently it’s being done. This misuse doesn’t bode well for potential search traffic.

Increasing the number of links within your site is another way to make it more search engine friendly. Improving the relevancy of the anchor text will further add to these results. Static link navigation is also favourable over graphical link navigation.
Unique title tags, META descriptions, and headers should also be present on every page. Removing useless header tags will increase the relevance of the important ones.
Finally, a site map is always a good idea for SEO purposes.
